About the Artist
Clare Lyons is a photographer and visual artist based in Dublin, Ireland. Although her core experience and knowledge revolves around conceptual and fine art photography, her interests also expand into all areas of the visual arts spectrum. Clare likes to use her practice as a means of personal therapy, often allowing photography to act as a tool of discovery and healing. Clare’s troubles may impair her work, but also often enhance it with an element of pure consciousness and profound glimpses into a troubled mind. In this way, her work is typically deeply private, inviting the viewer into her own mind and sometimes sharing just a little bit more than she maybe should.
