About the Artist
Eimhin Farrell is a Fine Art (Printmaking)/ Visual Culture student in his final year at NCAD, Dublin, having begun in 2015. She has had works exhibited at Impressions, as part of Galway International Arts Festival, and has taken part in internships at Black Church Print Studios, Temple Bar and work experience at the Royal Hibernian Academy.
Her work consists primarily of etchings and drypoint, and takes a highly conceptual stance when making prints, usually merging both representative and abstract imagery together in the same works. Eimhinn’s work deals mainly with philosophical concepts ranging from sociology to the supernatural, from politics to nihilism. She also has experience working in painting and textiles.
