The Spacehouse was designed by George Marsh who also designed the nearby Centre Point. The cylindrical shape of the structure was chosen in order not to block the light of the buildings in the surrounding streets. Space House was listed as a grade II structure with Historic England in January 2015 ensuring its future on the Camden skyline for many years to come.

Welbeck Street car park was designed by Michael Blampied and Partners in 1971. The unique structure which features diamond-patterned facade made up from prefabricated concrete was denied listed status last year and Westminster Council has recently approved the demolition of this amazing brutalist structure to make way for a ten storey hotel.

About the Artist

Founded in 2015 by husband and wife Julie and Owen Mc Loughlin, Jando is a multi award winning printmaking studio based in Dublin, Ireland.
Combining cinematic perspective and their love of architecture with a pop culture sensibility, Jando’s work is exciting and modern, with a strong emphasis placed on kineticism and the playful use of colour.
Jando skillfully blend a combination of both physical and digital disciplines, including screen printing and hand drawn illustration to create their distinctive body of work. Using the finest archival paper and inks, Jando’s range of prints are guaranteed to retain their vivid colour and striking aesthetic for a lifetime. Jando care deeply about the environment and only use recycled paper and card made from wood free ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free) pulp. All Jando prints are packaged in clear protective sleeves made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable.
