About the Artist
Having completed his studies in fine art printmaking in NCAD this year, Luke Fallon has continued to develop a body of work including print, sculpture and photography. Often the work is manipulated after completion in keeping with a belief that a piece is not a standalone object in itself but an actor to be manipulated, destroyed and shaped by time and circumstance. We are similarly actors in the world, shaped by our personal relationships and outside forces. Among other themes, the past and how it interacts with the present is a reoccurring concern. His photographs of Dublin often feature remnants or echoes of another city in another time, politically and architecturally.
